Licking Heights’ Pendexter recognized for athletic leadership

PATASKALA - Rita Pendexter has been recognized by her peers as one of the best.

Pendexter, the Licking Heights assistant athletic director, recently was honored as a Certified Master Athletic Administrator by the National Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association.

Pendexter’s time at Heights, which includes stints as softball coach and athletic director, has spanned two decades. She also has been a leader in community outreach for the Licking County League.
