Leverkusen identify potential Grimaldo replacement
After selling Alejandro Grimaldo to Atlético Madrid for a reported €25 million fee, Bayer Leverkusen are currently searching for a successor to the Spanish left-back.
According to Sport Bild, Como 1907’s Álex Valle has been identified as a possible option.
Like Grimaldo, the Spanish U21 international is a technically gifted left-back who likes to push forward and contribute in attack.
Valle, who came through the youth ranks at FC Barcelona, would reportedly cost around €20 million.
That puts him in the same price range as FC Lorient’s Arsène Kouassi, who has also been mentioned as a candidate.
