Bayer Leverkusen have extended the contracts of managing directors Fernando Carro and Simon Rolfes, the Bundesliga club said in a statement on Saturday.
CEO Carro will continue in his role until June 30, 2029, and managing director sport Simon Rolfes will remain in post until June 30, 2031.
"Fernando Carro and Simon Rolfes have done an outstanding job in developing Bayer over recent years. The greatest sporting successes in our club's history are just as much the result of their work as the sustainable development of the club as a whole," said Werner Wenning, chair of the Leverkusen shareholders' committee.
Carro has been at the helm of the club's management since 2018, while former Leverkusen player Rolfes joined the management team in 2022.
During their tenure, Leverkusen won their maiden Bundesliga title and the German Cup in 2024.
"Together, we have laid a strong foundation that we intend to continue to build on. Our aim is to position Bayer as an organization in such a way that we can regularly compete with the best teams in Europe," Rolfes said.
Carro added: "Bayer has developed very well in recent years. We can be proud of that. At the same time, we want to – and will – remain hungry for success."
