As we inch closer to Thanksgiving, I'm trying to find things to be thankful about regarding our Big Red football team.

Our 3-7 record and another embarrassing performance against San Francisco has clearly put JG in the crosshairs. Just like has happened with almost every coach since our illustrious owner took over the reins 20 years ago.

It was hard to come to work this morning and defend the Cardinals.

Hard to find something positive to say. Hard to be optimistic. Hard to remain a fan.

But I did it. I found something to look forward to. Something I can hang my $49.99 New Era Sideline Hat on.

We can all look forward to Michael Bidwill accepting another award soon. Not an award related to football success. Nope- an award for being a phenomenal civic leader.

In the last year alone, MJB has gleefully smiled for the cameras and accepted awards from well-meaning organizations including:

The Arizona Commerce Authority and the "2025 Governor's Award";

The McCain Institute and the "2025 "In the Arena Award";

And most impressively, his induction into the Arizona Sports Hall of Fame this past year.

Only a skeptic would point out that he provides financial support to the board that makes the decisions on who to induct.

Not me.

I choose to be thankful that MJB is a VIP.

Now let's get ready to carve up another turkey.

i am most thankful for fro this year - i know - shocker - but this man - so beloved by fans set us free - albeit unintentionally

so im ready to froget and frogive - let bygones be bygones - used to be everytime he frogot the snap count i got frorious

but then he hit murray in the face - setting off a chain of events that ultimately got murray benched

without the fromeister's un-impeccable timing we wouldn't know what a pocket quarterback means to this team

so raise your glasses - be merry and happy we didn't frocrastinate the inevitable any longer - it was something we all needed to know - thank you fro

(cue the song unfrogettable - balloons fall from above)

:cheers:

I thought his injury clause in his contract almost guarantees it. He goes out and stubs his toe again and he gets a huge payout...
What injury clause?

His 2026 salary is already guaranteed.

If Gannon and Monti are on thin ice in two weeks and the Cards are in the midst of a four-game losing streak, maybe the bring him back against the Texans, Falcons, and Bengals to showcase him for potential trade partners. It’s not without risk, but there’s also upside opportunities.

I’m thankful I got to travel to Dallas and watch my Cardinals beat down the Cowboys in Jerry’s World. Great experience. I’m also very thankful that I didn’t purchase season tickets this year!!!!!!
