The Philadelphia 76ers have high hopes for the 2026-27 season, and for good reason as they have built a strong and talented roster, but a big key to their impending success hinges on the health of Joel Embiid.
Embiid averaged 26.9 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 3.9 assists in 2025-26 as he is still one of the dominant big men in the game. There isn't a lot he can't do on the floor as he is an elite player, but on the flip side, he only played 38 games. He has not surpassed 39 games in any of the previous three seasons, but the big fella is looking healthy as he posted a message on Twitter showing off his new build as he prepares for another title chase.
Embiid posted the same message and pictures on Instagram, and new teammate LeBron James shared the post on his story with the big fella's catchphrase: Trust the Process.
Embiid will be hugely important to the success the Sixers will have in the coming season. Of course, James and Jaylen Brown will have a big role as well as Tyrese Maxey, but Philadelphia will need Embiid to be healthy and dominant in order to get the job done and reach the mountaintop.
