The Giannis Antetokounmpo trade saga continues to drag on, with questions about exactly when the Milwaukee Bucks want to pull off a blockbuster with their superstar and what the return could look like as negotiations reportedly continue.

There's a new wrinkle in a potential Miami Heat and Bucks deal, per Marc Stein -- it's possible that the Detroit Pistons could help make a deal happen as a third team in the trade, which would net the Eastern Conference contenders... Tyler Herro.

That could make some sense for the Pistons, who desperately need shooting to go along with Cade Cunningham et al. But would Herro make more sense in a return for the Bucks in an Antetokounmpo trade?

A trade scenario worth monitoring, per @TheSteinLine:

The Pistons could be a potential third-team facilitator in a possible Giannis Antetokounmpo to Miami deal, with Tyler Herro ultimately landing in Detroit.

It's framed as a scenario to watch, not a deal in motion. Detroit… pic.twitter.com/8eNMz832fd

We'll see what happens here, but the Pistons do have other options in free agency or in other trades to get shooting on to the roster. Stay tuned with this one.
