It feels like we've spent years talking about a possible Tyler Herro trade from the Miami Heat. And now that the talented former All-Star and 2022 Sixth Man of the Year has FINALLY been dealt in the Giannis Antetokounmpo blockbuster, we can stop talking about him getting traded, right? RIGHT?
Nope! Per multiple reports, including one from The Athletic's Sam Amick, the Milwaukee Bucks might turn around and deal Herro elsewhere. Here's Amick: "Herro is believed to have a robust market, with the Detroit Pistons among the many teams interested in him. Since this trade won’t be finalized until July 6, it remains possible for additional teams to take part in its final construction."
The Pistons make all the sense in the world given their shooting issues in the postseason, so we'll see if they join in or make a separate deal. But any other contender would love to have a guard like him on the roster, too. Stay tuned.
