After an initial thought that the Eagles could be without Quinyon Mitchell in Week 7, the talented cornerback was present and participating in the team's Wednesday practice ahead of Sunday's matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. The star cornerback was a limited participant along with Pro Bowl left guard Landon Dickerson. If Mitchell were unable to play, it would mean Adoree Jackson and Kelee Ringo could be the starters when Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, and the explosive Minnesota Vikings host Philadelphia on Sunday afternoon.

Eagles' defensive coordinator Vic Fangio met with the media on Tuesday and confirmed that Adoree Jackson is again the starter ahead of Kelee Ringo.

Mitchell suffered the injury in the first half of the shocking loss to the Giants and was initially listed as questionable to return; however, the Eagles ruled him out shortly afterward. Hamstrings are delicate situations and could have warranted the Eagles sitting the cornerback out until after the Week 9 bye.

The outside cornerback position opposite Mitchell has been a significant question mark ever since Darius Slay departed for the Steelers and Isaiah Rodgers left for the Vikings. The Eagles added Adoree' Jackson in the offseason, traded for Jakorian Bennett during the preseason, and have used Kelee Ringo with no success. Still, the position has become a liability, and the weakness becomes even more glaring with Mitchell not in the lineup.

Jalen was a full participant along with Zack Baun and Jordan Davis, giving Philadelphia hope for more firepower on Sunday in a pivotal game that could see Carson Wentz start at quarterback for Minnesota.

Dickerson and Carter missed the Thursday night loss to the Giants with injuries.
