No. 10 seed Tennessee (16-13) will play No. 7 seed North Carolina State (20-10) on Friday at Crisler Center in Ann Arbor, Michigan during the NCAA Tournament.

With their selection into the field of 68, the Lady Vols remain the only team in NCAA Division I history to qualify in every NCAA Tournament. Tennessee will play in one of two Fort Worth Regionals in 2026.

Friday's game between the Lady Vols and Wolfpack will be a rematch as the two schools met to open the season on Nov. 4, 2025. North Carolina State earned an, 80-77, victory in the Ro Greensboro Classic at First Horizon Arena in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Tennessee's seeding in the 2026 NCAA Tournament represents its second lowest in program history. The Lady Vols were a No. 11 seed in the 2018-19 season, Holly Warlick's final campaign as Lady Vols' head coach. The Lady Vols enter the tournament in the midst of a seven-game losing streak.

The 2026 NCAA Tournament Final Four will be held April 3-5 at Mortgage Matchup Center in Phoenix, Arizona.
