The international break is almost done, and Bayern Munich fans are anticipating the massive Champions League clash with Real Madrid in the quarterfinals. Both sides have reason to believe that they can advance, and Los Blancos forward Kylian Mbappé said he has full faith in his team.
“In the Champions League, we’re going to face a very strong team, probably the most in-form at the moment, Bayern Munich,” Mbappé said (Téléfoot as captured by X account @iMiaSanMia). “But if there’s one team capable of beating them, it’s Real Madrid.”
The current iteration of Bayern is one of the strongest in recent years, while Madrid isn’t exactly in their best state. Fans of the Rekordmeister are cautiously optimistic about the club’s chances of finally banishing its European archrival, especially with how one-sided the tie has been in the last decade and a half. Whatever happens, we expect Bayern and Vincent Kompany to do the club proud.
