I am really enjoying Sando's NFC West Blog. You learn something new every day:

By day's end, Warner had become the first player in NFL history to attempt at least 20 passes, complete at least 75 percent of them and average at least 15 yards every time he threw.
Not the first Cardinals player. The first NFL player. Ever.

"What I watched out there today was a hell of a job by Warner," Dolphins coach Tony Sparano said afterward.

Where are all the Leinart backers now? Warner has shown he was the perfect fit for this team the way it is built. If we go in and and beat Washington by putting up 28+ points...Watch out league!

I think the majority of us are celebrating the 2-0 start, or did you think we became Cowboys fans because Kurt is starting?

We're all Cardinals fans first and are thrilled that Warner is having his Indian Summer. Go Kurt! Go Cards!

I bet Matt, while bittersweet, has to be happy for his friend. Not to mention his team. Matt will have his chance. meanwhile, keep it up Circa-1999 Kurt Warner.

I still like Lienart, he doesnt become less of a QB just because KW is doing good for once. I booed him off the field years ago, he is a different player now.

Why is it that when I put up a post showing that Kurt made history, people can't just be happy until they get a dig in at the Leinart-backers?

Yes Seriously....I can go and pick through hundereds of threads and posts that said we wouldn't win squat with Warner at QB...He was to old, turnover machinge, Leinart is our future...why wasnt this and that....blah blah....Yes it is nice to see a major reason why were are 2-0 is because Warner has played lights out. I am a Cardinal fan first but no one gave much respect to Warner...He makes our team 14 points better!

True...I guess I am just very happy WHiz went with outside the box..and chose Warner. 2 Teams had given up on him when he was having good years. Whiz could have buckled and said...Leinart is our man.....But he didn't....And now Warner may lead us to places where most thought were impossible.

Why are you taking a thread that's praising a Card player and trying to turn it into an argument?

That's what everyone is saying to you, we all want Kurt to play well whether we thought he should start or not.

We want the Cards to win games, I don't care if they start Deuce Lutui at QB if it's the best move for the team do it.

Huh. If you had said that instead of being a everyone would have said, "Good point, I agree" instead of "Damn, Card_Campos is such a !"

When one of our most lunatic and frequently banned posters suggests you cool it [Hi Gee :)] you probably should listen.

Then do it and provide something of substance.

I don't care how "bad" Miami is, future HOFer Brett Favre didn't put up those kind of numbers the week before. I will say it is not only Kurt, but having two elite pro-bowl receivers in Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin.

Good for Kurt.

As for Cards_Campos...Give it a rest dude...Trying to make this a "Warner vs Leinart" thread...Shame on you. That stuff should of (and has) ended when Warner was named the starter when the regular season started.

"We do this together."

Absolutely 75 yards of that came on the jump ball Fitz won and the resultant YAC. But Kurt put the ball in the perfect place for Fitz to go get it so he should get some credit there too.

It was an amazing game by Kurt, Fitz and Q.
