The Boston Celtics experienced how quickly the momentum can shift in the NBA Playoffs. After beating the New York Knicks 115-93 in Game 3, they lost 121-113 on Monday and lost superstar Jayson Tatum to a leg injury.

The Celtics are now down 3-1 and will likely be without the Duke alum in Game 5 on Wednesday, and possibly a chunk of next season. They'll have to depend on Jaylen Brown, Derrick White, Jrue Holiday, Payton Pritchard, and Kristaps Porzingis, the latter of whom is struggling with an illness.

Tatum was hot before he went down in the fourth quarter on Monday, totaling 42 points (16-28 FG, 7-16 3 PT) with eight rebounds, four assists, four steals, and two blocks in 40 minutes. The 27-year-old had never suffered a serious injury in his NBA career before the game.
