With the Eastern Conference Semifinals concluded, it's finally time to shift focus to the Eastern Conference Finals, beginning on May 19.
This year will be the New York Knicks' second-straight Eastern Conference Finals appearance, a streak they haven't had since the 1999 and 2000 seasons. With Jalen Brunson and Karl Anthony-Towns at the helm, the sky is the limit for this New York team. The Knicks are sitting with ample rest between their conference semifinals and finals series, so they must stay vigilant and not let the missed time prevent them from resuming where they left off against the 76ers.
Despite having to travel to Detroit for Game 7, the task all but phased the Cavaliers. They routed the Pistons 125-94 and showed the NBA they are legit when their offense is firing on all cylinders. This will need to remain the case, as New York's offense closed out their series against Atlanta and Philadelphia by battering their opponents, especially on the road.

In three games this season, New York holds a 2-1 regular-season series advantage. However, their only loss came after the Cavaliers traded for Harden and emerged victorious by 15 points.
