The New York Knicks are celebrating their NBA championship with a visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.
Knicks stars Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, Josh Hart and OG Anunoby were joined by the Wu-Tang Clan during a special appearance on Monday, June 15. This year's champs — who defeated the San Antonio Spurs in Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Saturday, June 13 — brought along their new hardware in the Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy in front of an audience full of Knicks fans and the team's president, Leon Rose.
Longtime Knicks diehard Spike Lee joined host Jimmy Fallon toward the end of his monologue to introduce the newly minted world champs before Brunson, Towns, Hart, and Anunoby joined the show to celebrate the win — and share insight into their pre-game rituals and the superstitions they believe won them the championship.
Brunson credited Justin Bieber with helping him get in the zone before a game, while Towns said that he believed his fiancée, Jordyn Woods, brought championship luck to the team with her iconic orange handbag.

Knicks superfans Timothée Chalamet and Ben Stiller made the trip to Texas and celebrated the victory at Frost Bank Center. The Knicks' championship also sparked a fury of chaos in New York City on Saturday night, resulting in five buses being set on fire and four people being stabbed.
After the win, Brunson — whose father, Rick Brunson, is an assistant Knicks coach —spoke about the emotions he felt after seeing his father once the championship was secured. “I was good. [After] the final buzzer, I walked right to half court, shook [Spurs head coach] Mitch Johnson's hand and then turned around. My dad was there,” the NBA Finals MVP said during a post-game press conference. “And then felt emotional from that point on.”
“I just remember Josh [Hart] talking into my ear and him just saying, like, ‘We did it. We did it,' and then I was emotional for a good like five, 10 minutes,” the Knicks star continued. “And then the excitement started to kick in.”

Brunson said, "It was definitely more emotional than I thought it was going to be right away."
"Once I got on stage and everything, it kind of started to settle. But man, it is everything I dreamed of. Seriously," he added.
