The Knicks, five days removed from winning the franchise’s first NBA title in 53 years, beamed on the stage in front of City Hall, soaking it all in.

It was a fitting finale to a Thursday of reveling.

Parade floats had taken them there, navigating Lower Manhattan’s Canyon of Heroes as rowdy crowds filled the streets.

The party continued at a ceremony hosted by the city, where Alicia Keys performed her prevailing five-borough anthem “Empire State of Mind” and Mayor Mamdani compared the resilience of the underdog Knicks to that of New York.

“There’s a lot people that have a lot of negative stuff to say, and a lot of people that have a lot of opinions,” said Knicks star Jalen Brunson, the Finals MVP.

“But when you prove them wrong, you don’t have to say s—t to them.”
