Knicks reserve center Mitchell Robinson suffered a broken right pinky ahead of the start of the NBA Finals next week, according to multiple reports.

Both ESPN and The Athletic reported the news, with ESPN’s Shams Charania reporting “There is no timetable on his return.”

“This is obviously a setback and even if he does come back, he’s going to be limited in some way,” ESPN’s Brian Windhorst said Friday on SportsCenter. “We’re waiting to hear more and he’s waiting to see how he feels...The Knicks had a clean injury report, it was one of their big advantages. And now that’s not the case.”

The NBA Finals begin Wednesday in either Oklahoma City or San Antonio.

The Thunder feature big men Isaiah Hartenstein and Chet Holmgren, while the Spurs have Victor Wembanyama and Luke Kornet.

The Thunder lead that series 3-2 entering Thursday night’s Game 6.
