The New York Knicks will raise a championship banner as well as collect their rings on Oct. 20 when they play host to the Philadelphia 76ers. The new-look Sixers will debut a new lineup featuring Jaylen Brown and LeBron James alongside Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey. This will be a much different Sixers team than the one the Knicks swept out of the playoffs back in May.
The Sixers will be looking to make a statement and spoil New York's banner night by going into Madison Square Garden and pick up a win to start the season. With that being said, one of those Knicks is shocked by the decision of the schedule makers.
Josh Hart took to Twitter to give his reaction to the news that his team will host the Sixers in October.
Hart and the Knicks have had their success against the Sixers in the past and they will look to remind everybody who runs the East. However, James, Brown, and Co. might have a lot to say about that notion on the road.
