Florida State is looking for its first big splash on the offensive line in the 2027 recruiting cycle. Four-star Jatori Williams is one of their key targets, and the 6-foot-5, 320-pounder named FSU in his top six schools on Wednesday.
Williams also set his commitment date for May 22. That has now changed as Williams has announced that he'll commit on July 4, which is the original date that he was set to make his decision on.
This means that Williams will take all of his official visits during the summer. He'll take his first trip to see the Georgia Bulldogs on May 29. Following that will be the Miami Hurricanes on June 5, Florida State on June 12, and then he'll wrap things up at the Kentucky Wildcats on June 19.
247Sports composite rankings have Williams listed as the No. 104 overall player and the nation's No. 7 interior offensive lineman. In the state of Alabama, he's the No. 3 prospect.
Williams has taken seven trips to see FSU since the beginning of last year, which is more than any of the other contenders have. The Seminoles need a big pledge to get their 2027 class back on track, and snagging Williams would be a huge step in that direction.
