Key dates for the Steelers 2026 training camp

2026 marks the first Pittsburgh Steelers training camp in nearly two decades without former head coach Mike Tomlin in charge. Pittsburgh local and future Hall of Famer Mike McCarthy is in as the new head coach and he has the fanbase buzzing about seeing this team getting over the hump and finally returning to its former glory.

If you are planning to attend training camp at Saint Vincent College, or just want to be sure to keep up with all the action, here are the key dates to know.

Key Dates​

• Tuesday, July 28: Players report to Saint Vincent College
• Wednesday, July 29: First open public practice
• Saturday, August 1: Hall of Honor Class announcement (NFL Back Together Weekend)
• Monday, August 3: First padded practice (11:00 AM, open to public)
• Saturday, August 8: Annual Night Practice at Latrobe Memorial Stadium (6:00 PM)
• Thursday, August 13: First Preseason Game vs. Green Bay Packers (7:00 PM at Acrisure Stadium)
• Tuesday, August 18: Camp breaks / Latrobe practices conclude
