Houston Rockets superstar forward Kevin Durant called allegations of a secret Twitter burner account used in part to disparage his teammates "nonsense" when asked on Wednesday.
Online speculation wondered if the Twitter account in question belonged to the very online Durant, who has been associated with social media burner accounts in the past.
However, he brushed this burner account rumor off as a nothingburger when asked by a reporter. While he did not outright deny the account was his, he referred to the controversy as "Twitter nonsense."
"I'm just here to focus on the season," Durant said about the allegation.
Is it Durant's burner account? Is this all just a bunch of internet baloney? In this day and age, we have no idea.
At the very least, Durant doesn't seem all that interested in going past a casual shoulder shrug.
