The NBA Draft is just one day away, as 60 prospects will hear their name called Tuesday and Wednesday night at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
Leading off tomorrow night will be the Washington Wizards, with much speculation on which one of the top players they will select.
Darryn Peterson (Kansas), AJ Dybansta (BYU), Cameron Boozer (Duke), and Caleb Wilson (North Carolina) are primarily viewed as home-run selections, with the likes of SEC stars Darius Acuff (Arkansas) and Nate Ament (Tennessee) coming in right behind them.
Although there are no former Wildcats that appear to be a lottery pick this week, big man Jayden Quaintance should hear his name called at some point in the first round, and hopefully, a team will take a swing on All-SEC wing Otega Oweh, as he’s listed as the 60th best prospect according to ESPN.
The first round will begin at 8 PM ET on Tuesday, with the second round to follow at the same time on Wednesday. Coverage of the draft will air on ESPN & ABC (Tuesday), then solely on ESPN (Wednesday).
