There's no denying that the Kentucky Wildcats have some of the best players in the NBA.

And, to make things even better, they will have a first-time NBA Champion this season as well. With the New York Knicks up 2-1 on the San Antonio Spurs, regardless of who wins the NBA Finals, the Cats will win. Center Karl-Anthony Towns is on the Knicks, while guard De'Aaron Fox and forward Keldon Johnson are on the Spurs, and the former of those two are highly-paid players. All three players haven't had much postseason success in their careers, so this matchup was a welcome sight for fans.

That said, add in Devin Booker, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Anthony Davis, and the Cats collectively have some of the most popular names in the sport, and a new ranking shows just how dominant their alumni base is in the NBA. Now, without many top-five picks in the last few years, this might be the peak of the paydays for the Cats in the NBA, as many are already on that second or third contract that has ballooned past a rookie deal.

Here's a breakdown of the highest-paid NBA players by university.

Oklahoma City's SGA is really the name to keep an eye on. The back-to-back MVP has cemented himself as the best player in the NBA and is coming off a season in which he averaged 31.1 points per game and shot 55.3% from the field. He is set to make $38 million this past season and has that go up to $71 million during the 2029-30 season.

Obviously, Davis, Anthony-Towns, Booker and many other names are some to keep an eye on with their next contracts coming due before SGA. Nonetheless, the Cats dominate other programs at the NBA level and hopefully can continue that trend under Mark Pope and company.
