The Kentucky Wildcats are heavily involved with several of the country's top 2027 recruits, and are hoping to land a few more big names. However, with the contact period open for 2028 recruits, coach Mark Pope has also been active in contacting and offering players from that class as well. This week, he added Colton Hiller to the list.
Hiller is a 6'6", 210 lb small forward out of Pennsylvania. He is rated five stars by 247Sports, and currently ranks as their No. 3 overall player in the class. He's even higher for some services after averaging more than 17 points per game on the Nike EYBL circuit.
Kentucky began contacting Hiller as soon as the contact period opened last month, and have now officially offered him, as announced by him on his Instagram page. The Wildcats join a long list of schools to have extended offers that includes Louisville, North Carolina, Indiana, and Kansas among others.
Hiller told Kentucky Sports Radio that he had had a Facetime meeting with Pope and Cody Fueger and that they reach out regularly. He's certainly one of the best players in his class, and would be a great addition. We will continue to monitor his recruitment.
