Will Stein and his staff continue the momentum on the recruiting trail as they have landed their 14th commitment of the 2027 recruiting class. Four-star wide receiver Iveon Lewis announced his commitment to the Kentucky Wildcats today on Rivals. Lewis picked Kentucky over Georgia, Virginia Tech, South Carolina and Maryland. Lewis is a four-star prospect per Rivals and is currently rated as a top 50 wideout in the 2027 recruiting rankings.

Lewis is 6'2, 180-pounds and has the mold of a X wide receiver. He has shown his ability at the high school level to be a legitimate deep threat and possesses exceptional contested catch ability on downfield routes. His skillset is enticing because not only does he have great contested catch ability, but he has also shown he is dangerous with the football in his hands. Lewis can catch a short drag route or a 10-yard out route and take it the distance.

The Richmond, Virginia product has tools that translate to SEC play. He doesn't shy away from contact when targeted over the middle of the field. He also excels at attacking the catch point. Lewis definitely fits the bill of "feed the studs", a moniker which Coach Stein lives by.

This is a big time recruiting win for Coach Stein and his staff to keep that momentum rolling on the recruiting trail. To pry Lewis away from his home state team Virginia Tech, as well as SEC foes in Georgia and South Carolina is impressive. Kentucky currently has a top 10 class per 247Sports. On Rivals, this commitment brings the Wildcats to a top 15 class.
