Kentucky Basketball is continuing its aggressive approach in the transfer portal, holding a Zoom meeting with Iowa State transfer forward Milan Momcilovic, according to Jacob Polacheck of KSR+.
Momcilovic, a 6-foot-8, 210-pound forward, is also currently testing the NBA Draft waters while weighing his college options for next season. The rising senior forward would bring elite shooting efficiency and high-level experience to any program he chooses.
During the 2025-26 season at Iowa State, Momcilovic averaged 16.9 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 1.0 assists per game while shooting 50.6% from the field. His most impressive trait came from beyond the arc, where he connected on 48.7% of his 3-point attempts, knocking down 3.7 triples per game on 7.5 attempts. He also added efficiency at the free-throw line, shooting 87.8%.
Momcilovic started all 37 games for the Cyclones and averaged 30.5 minutes per contest, playing a key role in Iowa State’s run to the Sweet 16, while earning Second Team All-Big 12 honors.
Momcilovic also delivered a great performance against Kentucky, scoring 20 points on 6-of-12 shooting, including 4-of-9 from 3-point range, along with five rebounds, two steals, and one assist in Iowa State’s 82-63 win over the Wildcats in the Round of 32.
As Kentucky continues to search for a major star, Momcilovic is emerging as one of the more intriguing names on the board.
