Kentucky Wildcats basketball head coach Mark Pope took to social media this week to ask Big Blue Nation for feedback and questions as the offseason continues.

Early Thursday evening, Pope posted Round 2 of the few answers he had responded to.

Pope answered six questions, from a variety of topics, from what he ate to how he evaluates prospects. One of the most important questions that the Wildcats’ head coach answered was regarding a potential summer tour.

Pope revealed the team was supposed to go on a summer tour to Jerusalem, but the ongoing conflict has put the trip on hold. The team is still taking suggestions on where to go as the summer unfolds.

“We had a trip scheduled to Jerusalem. It got canceled due to the conflict,” said Pope. “So, now we’re looking for another venue, and I’m taking suggestions. Hit me up, BBN.“

In case you missed it, the NCAA adopted a proposal that will allow schools to take summer tours every year now, so no more only getting one of these every four years. Even if it ends up being somewhere close by, it would be a great experience for this team to get some summer exhibition games in, especially with how big of a roster overhaul the Cats are going through.

Pope said he’ll be back on social media answering a few more questions on Friday. The caption included that he’ll be discussing the “GM topic,” which has flooded the comments on Pope’s original post.
