La Familia, Kentucky's alumni squad, will make its first ever appearance in the TBT Championship game on Sunday, August 2 at Memorial Coliseum in Lexington.
La Familia will face Davis Steel, a team from the "non-alumni" side of the TBT bracket. Last year, Davis Steel — competing under the name Eberlein Drive — eliminated La Familia in the Sweet 16 of the old format of the tournament.
Davis Steel defeated The Mecca, 71-69, on Thursday night to advance to the final game. Terrell Brown's 3-pointer capped a 7-0 run to end the game after The Mecca moved within two points of the Elam Ending target score.
The TBT Championship game is set to tipoff at 1 p.m. ET on Sunday.
