Keisean Nixon misses first practice, Banks and Stackhouse off PUP

A few tidbits of injury news coming out of the first practice of Green Bay Packers training camp: cornerback Keisean Nixon did not participate with a hamstring injury, while guard Aaron Banks and defensive tackle Nazir Stackhouse came off the physically unable to perform list and were able to participate on Wednesday.

Nixon is one of three players not practicing because of a hamstring injury, joining running back Chris Brooks (non-football injury list) and offensive tackle Brant Banks (PUP list).

While the Packers began training camp without one of their starting cornerbacks, both Banks -- a starter at left guard -- and Stackhouse were able to get healthy in time for Wednesday's practice. Both were placed on the PUP list upon reporting to camp.

Of note: top pick Brandon Cisse was first up at cornerback with Nixon out of practice on Wednesday.

First unit: Monk in for Banks at LG, Kinnard in for Tom at RT. Starters are at practice but not doing 11-on-11.

Starting CBs are Valentine & Cisse with Nixon out. Brooks, Stackhouse & McClellan rotating on interior D-line with Hargrave out and Wyatt not doing team.

Defensive tackle Javon Hargrave is not practicing and is on the PUP list due to a knee injury.

Long snapper Matt Orzech has a calf injury and is not practicing to start training camp.
