The Green Bay Packers placed six players on injury lists on Monday: running back Chris Brooks (non-football injury list), tight end Tucker Kraft (physically unable to perform), tight end Luke Musgrave (PUP), left guard Aaron Banks (PUP), defensive lineman Javon Hargrave (PUP) and cornerback Kamal Hadden (PUP). On Tuesday, the team added five more players to the list, including two we expected — edge rusher Micah Parsons (PUP, torn ACL) and defensive lineman Jordon Riley (PUP, torn Achilles).

The other three players were surprises: tackle Brant Banks (PUP), defensive lineman Nazir Stackhouse (PUP) and long snapper Matt Orzech (PUP). Notably, Orzech is the only long snapper on the team, meaning that the Packers will presumably be without one until he returns or another player is signed. Green Bay officially starts training camp practices on Wednesday, so keep an eye out for some potential action there.

As a reminder, the PUP list doesn’t come with any timeline designation. A player can be placed on the PUP list upon reporting to camp but can be taken off as early as the first practice. The same is true for NFI players, which currently only applies to Chris Brooks.

The good news here: right tackle Zach Tom and defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt are full go for training camp. It’s a bit of a surprise that Hadden isn’t ready to return to the field yet, considering that he said his recovery was going to be a four- to five-month process back in January. It was already assumed that Kraft was going to miss the first week or two of camp, so there’s no major worry there. Parsons will miss at least the first four weeks of the regular season (as the team has stated he’s starting the 2026 campaign on the regular-season PUP list), and Riley is unlikely to contribute in 2026.

So far, we have no word on the injuries to Musgrave, Banks, the other Banks, Hargrave, Stackhouse or Orzech. We’ll probably get more answers on that front on Wednesday.
