Jalen Brunson’s New York Knicks legend continues to grow as he leads the franchise toward its first NBA Finals appearance since 1999.
The Knicks are one win away from the NBA Finals as they hold a 3-0 series lead over the Cleveland Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals. Brunson has been one of the best players in the postseason, leading New York through 10 consecutive victories.
Brunson was featured on the cover of the latest New Yorker titled “Kings of New York,” putting him amongst the best players in franchise history.
Karl-Anthony Towns was shown this cover during his media availability before Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals on Monday.
“He’s done an amazing job of every single night showing up and doing what’s asked of him,” Towns said. “He deserves the credit, deserves the recognition. I’m glad he’s getting it. It’s an honor to be his teammate.”
