Kansas City Chiefs rookie defensive lineman Omarr Norman-Lott, at his training camp press conference, described his expectations ahead of his first padded practice on Sunday at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph.

“Probably just the level of physicality. I mean, we are kind of already moving – I play a position, me in the O-Lineman, and my teammates,” said Norman-Lott, “we all play a position where we are in contact and engaged every play. So, it kind of doesn’t really make a difference, but it gets more physical.”

One of the offensive linemen Norman-Lott will be battling in practice is All-Pro Creed Humphrey, for whom he shared high praise after the first week of camp.

“(Creed) Humphrey is a brick wall (laughter),” said Norman-Lott. “No, no, I’m not laughing (laughs), I’m serious, seriously, I would say Creed.”

Norman-Lott began his college career at Arizona State but transferred to the University of Tennessee. In two seasons with the Volunteers, he collected 44 tackles, 10 tackles for loss, 9.5 sacks, and one fumble recovery.
