The Associated Press reports if <A href="http://www.kffl.com/link/160">NFL draft prospect WR Larry Fitzgerald goes ahead of their No. 3 overall pick, the Arizona Cardinals will entertain offers to trade down, but not too far. The team has their eyes on NFL draft prospects S Sean Taylor (Miami, FL) and TE Kellen Winslow Jr. (Miami, FL). "We're going to keep our options open," said Cardinals vice president for football operations Rod Graves, "and as we get into more intensified conversations with other clubs, we'll determine whether that's something that's attractive to us."

I just saw Green on ESPN and he said they will not be trading down. He said they have their 3 top guys and obviously one of them will be left at pick number 3.

It's a smokescreen...... Good cop, bad cop.............create confusion & uncertainty and teams behind us might give up more if worried about what player we will take.......that is if we are trading down....instead of selecting at #3

and he convinced me we will stay at #3. Somebody would have to make an idiotic offer for us to move down. I mean, everything has a price , and if somebody wanted to grossly overpay to move up 3 or 4 spots then I guess it could happen, but not likely.

I wouldn't mind Gallery so much if we had not already poured a bunch of free agents and recent high draft picks into the O-line. Putting that kind of money into skill positions is one thing, but wrapping it up in linemen is another.

Here is the key - the Cards have targeted 4 players, Fitz, Winslow, Taylor, and 1 other unnamed player as choices they like.

If Fitz is gone, but the other three remain on the board, the Cards will definitely entertain trading down. Rod Graves has left that door wide open in press briefings.
