Oct. 18—WILLMAR — The Minnesota Moose handed the Willmar WarHawks a 5-3 NA3HL loss Friday night before 300 fans at the Willmar Civic Center Arena.

The Moose built up a 5-1 lead late in the third period before the WarHawks got a pair of goals.

Toby Holtz scored his first goal of the season at 5:00 to make it 5-2. Then, Gabe Adamson picked up his second goal of the season with 2:19 to play for Willmar. Carson Wendorff also scored for the Warriors in the first period.

Holtz is a 6-foot-2, 200-pounder from Austin. Adamson is 5-11, 170 and from Bellevue, Nebraska. Wendorff is a 5-11, 181-pound defenseman from Litchfield.

Willmar has another home game at 7;10 p.m. Saturday against the Alexandria Blizzard.
