The Dominican Republic's joust with the United States in the World Baseball Classic semifinal proved perhaps the most enchanting matchup of the tournament slate. Both rosters were decked in starlight heading into the affair.

Julio Rodriguez robs Aaron Judge
Rodriguez took flight at the top of the fifth inning, leaping high to deny Aaron Judge of his third home run of the World Baseball Classic.
The Dominican outfielder raced to corral Judge's looping fly ball, which appeared destined to nestle behind the center field wall. He scaled the barrier with aplomb, jumping towards the rafters with a technique eerily similar to that employed by Adam Jones during the 2017 iteration of the competition.
As he came down from his ascent, Rodriguez celebrated, crossing his arms in an apparent reference to DX. With his acrobatics, it was an apt gesture.
