Phoenix Suns forward Josh Childress broke his right index finger in Tuesday night's exhibition victory over the Golden State Warriors.

The finger is fractured. No timetable but the finger will be reexamined Tuesday prior to the Portland game which gives at least some hope.

He was our Marion-lite player. Don't run plays for him, but just hope his athleticism and defense bring those extras we need. Still, the games I have seen so far, I don't think we utilize his skills that much.
