Jordan Spieth got a little wayward with a tee ball today, sending it offline left but yet somehow ending up in the fairway — all thanks to a patron at Augusta National on Friday at the Masters.

On the par-4 ninth, Spieth pulled his tee shot and it appeared to be heading for the trees but a patron under the tree could be seen reacting after getting hit by the golf ball.

Spieth, being a man of the people that he is, signed a golf glove and went over to give it to the man, whose deflection helped Spieth save par on the hole. Spieth birdied the first and then ripped off 10 straight pars before a bogey on the 12th, leaving him even for the day and even overall.
