The state of Iowa was well represented in the 2026 girls McDonald's All-American game at Desert Diamond Arena in Glendale, Arizona, on March 31.

The East emerged with a 76-63 win in the game, in large part thanks to the impact of Johnston star and Notre Dame commit Jenica Lewis. She came off the bench and tallied the best +/- of all players in the game with a +18, while adding six points, a game-high 10 rebounds, one assist, two steals and one block.

Lewis was just 2-of-9 from the field, but both her makes were from 3.
