The Genesis Scottish Open was the final event in the Open Championship qualifying series, the last chance for three golfers to gain entry into the final major of 2026.
The field will be 156 on Thursday at Royal Birkdale, which is hosting the Open for an 11th time. The top three finishers at the Scottish Open who were not already exempt for the Open would earn spots, and they didn't even need to win to do so.
The three? Johnny Keefer, Michael Thorbjornsen and Victor Perez. Here's how they did it:
These will be the first British Open appearances for Keefer and Thorbjornsen.

- Thorbjornsen tied for seventh at 12 under (66-68-65-69)
- Perez tied for ninth at 11 under (69-64-70-66)
