INDIANAPOLIS -- Pacers second-year wing Johnny Furphy left Saturday's NBA preseason game with a sprained left ankle and two-way contract guard Quenton Jackson didn't return to the game after halftime due to a sore right hamstring according to Pacers public relations. The latest developments are even more trouble for a team that has plenty of injury trouble already.

The Pacers are already missing All-Star point guard Tyrese Haliburton for the season thanks to the Achilles tendon tear suffered in Game 7 of the NBA Finals. Veteran point guard T.J. McConnell strained his hamstring in Tuesday's preseason opener and will miss a month. Rookie guard Kam Jones will likely miss all of preseason with a lower back injury. Third-year wing Ben Sheppard is still out with an undisclosed injury. Delon Wright suffered a head injury in the preseason opener and the Pacers waived him to sign Cameron Payne.

Before the injury, Furphy made the highlight reel with a tomahawk dunk over Oklahoma City's Malevy Leons. Jackson had 14 first-half points on 6 of 8 shooting.
