John Stones and Giuseppe Bergomi's meeting
John Stones' first day as a Nerazzurro featured a welcome with great symbolic meaning. Waiting to greet him at Inter HQ was Giuseppe Bergomi, the Club's legendary former captain, who welcomed the English defender as he began his journey in the Nerazzurri colours.
The pair shared a special moment, during which Stones was introduced to Inter's history and tradition. To mark the occasion, Bergomi presented the Club's new defender with a selection of memorabilia, including his iconic number 2 shirt: a symbolic gesture to reflect the passing on of a legacy built on belonging, identity, and pride.
