The Philadelphia 76ers are at home on Wednesday night as they host the Orlando Magic in the Eastern Conference Play-In Tournament.
For the 76ers, they enter the Play-In Tournament as the No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference after ending the regular season with a 45-37 record following a victory at home over the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday night.
Now Philadelphia will try to clinch the No. 7 seed with a victory over the Magic on Wednesday as they look to set up a matchup with the Boston Celtics in the first round of the playoffs.
While the 76ers are looking to clinch a playoff spot in Wednesday night’s Play-In game, they may be without multiple key players, including one of their stars, due to injuries.
76ers rule out Joel Embiid for Magic game
For the 76ers, they have three players listed on their injury report for Wednesday’s game, including star center Joel Embiid.
Philadelphia has ruled out Embiid due to post appendectomy surgery recovery as he will miss his fourth consecutive contest and he is expected to miss the entire Play-In Tournament.

The 76ers have also ruled out Johni Broome as he will miss the remainder of the season while recovering from right knee surgery.
Trendon Watford has been listed as probable and is expected to play despite dealing with an illness.
