Jaylen Crocker-Johnson will return to the Gophers for his senior season, the U’s NIL collective Dinkytown Athletes confirmed Monday.

The power forward will be a key piece in head coach Niko Medved’s second season at the U.

Crocker-Johnson transferred from Arkansas-Little Rock after his freshman season to join Medved at Colorado State in 2024-25 and followed Medved to Minnesota for this season.

Crocker-Johnson had a leadership role in Medved’s first season at the U. He knew what the coach wanted on the court and was second on the team at 13.4 points per game and first on the glass at 6.8 rebounds per game.

Crocker-Johnson started 24 games before a foot injury sidelined him for the rest of the season.
