Mar. 5—BEMIDJI — After a spectacular regular season, Bemidji High School boys basketball senior Jaxon Boschee is being recognized for it.
Boschee has been named a finalist for the MBCA McDonald Award, given out annually to the most outstanding senior player of the year in Minnesota. The award was first given out
in 2018.
Boschee broke the BHS career points record
Jan. 3,
surpassing Jim Jensen. He surpassed
2,000 points
Feb. 10 against Moorhead.
After a win against
Rogers on Tuesday,
Boschee and the Jacks will host the Section 8-4A semifinal Friday night against Elk River.
