He actually from a further story had to go to the deli counter, order the crab legs and some other seafood, and then after having it handed to him was supposed to pay on his way out but forgot to.

What a shellfish kid.

Plenty of Publix in my area of residence. I am going to try a test.

Walk in fill the basket up and head for the door. On the way out just tell the nearest cashier , " gotta run, catch up with you later ". Let you know how that goes.

They have clear plastic ones too and I'm assuming that's what he was using. Soda would leak right out of the paper ones.

I've never seen anything but paper ketchup cups at Burger Kings across the country. Could be wrong, but I believe it was a paper ketchup cup.

That was terrible Russ.

Don't be so crabby.

In more serious news FSU made the vaunted list of 55 colleges being investigated by the Feds for Title 9 violations with how they investigate sexual incidents on campus. They stressed the investigation is NOT about the outcome of the cases but how they are being investigated. Hint that means having police advise alleged victims to drop cases because they involve football players is NOT how you're supposed to investigate.

Yeah I don't eat at BK much but I see the plastic ones at like Fresh Choice and places like that although come to think of it those are for dressing not ketchup.

Seems like those things would leak like a sieve. Which is probably why they noticed him doing it, he was probably spilling soda all over.

I don't have publix but I know if I walked into Lucky and ordered it they give it to you wrapped with a sticker on it that has the barcode with the price. It's pretty apparent you are supposed to pay for it.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to go to a Burger King and attempt to drink soda from a ketchup cup... :D

Sounds like Jameis Winston will be the perfect draft pick for Jerry Jones and his bunch.Another year of Romo and JJ will be ready for Winston.

Story going around Tallahassee is that the Publix seafood manager and Jameis have had an ongoing deal and this was not the only time. Supposedly Jameis has been the beneficiary of "free seafood" for awhile.

Anyone remember the Free Shoes U deal with FSU players and Foot Locker from the past?

The video sure looked like he didn`t have a care in the world.Doesn`t everybody go to the grocery and just help themselves to any thing they want? Maybe he thinks the cashiers are there to take donations?

I read the other day Winston`s father said FSU should have someone with his son 24/7 so Jameis doesn`t get in trouble.I thought it was a parents job to teach a child the difference between right and wrong. Now his dad says the school needs to babysit his boy.

That store is just too big. i think he got lost and got disoriented and just forgot he was supposed to pay.

:D

No idea if true but I read the other day that Winston actually admitted to police that he didn't even have his wallet with him when he went in. So he couldn't have paid if he wanted to. He seemed to be suggesting that's why he didn't pay he didn't have his wallet, when most people would say OMG I forgot my wallet can you hold this while I go get it his choice was walk out without paying with crab legs

It's also being reported that grocery store is well known to let FSU players pretty much eat for free. I do believe that. Now there's probably a different way they go about it maybe call the manager or something not just be a bone head and make it obvious.

From the video what I saw was him walking up to the seafood counter, being handed a prepared order, no waiting, no conversation, turns and burns right out the door after meandering aimlessly. Looked very much like a routine food run for him that may have been a ritual with him and the worker. This guy is going to have one bad awful time when it comes to pre draft interviews with the NFL folks. Hope Gruden is still around when the time comes.
