Jalen Rose blames diehard LeBron James fans and teammates for ‘weak’ NBA coverage

Former Chicago Bulls star Jalen Rose snaps at the NBA media’s recent coverage.

Even as a 41-year-old, LeBron James had the entire NBA community in his palm because of his decision to leave the Los Angeles Lakers and become a free agent, likely for one last time in his career.

James ultimately joined the Philadelphia 76ers to have a shot at winning the fifth NBA Championship of his glorious career.

While James’ destination is now decided, for weeks the mainstream media, almost entirely, focused on the King’s next move, and this didn’t seem to sit well with former Chicago Bulls player Jalen Rose.

Jalen Rose says NBA media is full of LeBron James stans​

After his playing career concluded, Rose stepped into a broadcasting role with ESPN in 2007. Rose’s stint ended with the network when he was let go in 2023.

Since then, Rose has become against the network and never misses a chance to call out their coverage style. The former NBA player did just that on his official X handle.

“NBA coverage has become so weak. It’s now led by men/women who didn’t play or LeBron stans/former teammates,” Rose claimed.

Rose not only took aim at the lack of knowledge of the current NBA media, but blatantly took aim at James’ fans and former teammates.

With the likes of Kendrick Perkins, Channing Frye, and Richard Jefferson being vocal figures in the NBA media space, it’s clear what Rose meant in his now-viral tweet.

Rose’s comments were met with instant backlash from NBA fans below his tweet as they called the former ESPN figure biased.
