Jake Paul has built a career by doing things most people never thought were possible. From internet celebrity to professional boxer, he has repeatedly reinvented himself into a sports media sensation. Now, it appears he may have another ambitious goal in mind. During a recent interview, Paul spoke about life after boxing, and his answer caught many fans by surprise. According to Paul, he would like to attend Stanford University, play college football, and eventually work his way into the NFL.

For most athletes, reaching the NFL is a dream that begins in childhood and requires years of training, development, and competition at the highest levels of football. Paul understands that challenge, but he doesn’t seem intimidated by it.
The social media star revealed that playing professional football has long been something he has thought about. While the idea may sound unrealistic to some, Paul noted that football was once a serious interest during his younger years before his life took a completely different direction.

Back in 2013, Paul became one of the biggest stars on Vine, quickly building a massive online following through short comedy videos. His popularity eventually carried over to YouTube, where he became one of the platform’s most recognizable creators. He later expanded into television, appearing on a Disney Channel series before fully committing to content creation and entrepreneurship.
In January 2020, Paul stepped into a boxing ring for his first professional fight. Since then, he has transformed himself into one of the sport’s biggest attractions, headlining major events and building a legitimate boxing résumé.
That’s the question everyone is asking. The jump from professional boxing to college football — and eventually the NFL — would be one of the most unconventional career paths in sports history. Still, if there’s one thing Paul has shown throughout his career, it’s a willingness to chase goals that others dismiss.
Whether he actually pursues football remains to be seen, but the idea is clearly on his mind. And with Jake Paul, it is usually unwise to completely rule anything out.
