With minicamp behind us, let's break down the Jacksonville Jaguars' roster through a different lens.

In this series, we will be going position-by-position and placing each player into one of three categories -- are they a lock to make the team, likely to make the team, or on the bubble and fighting for a role?

What this exercise can do is help bring into focus how many roster spots are actually available this summer, along with highlighting who may be on the outside and looking in.

Up next are the wide receivers.

Roster locks (4): Brian Thomas Jr., Parker Washington, Jakobi Meyers, Travis Hunter

No surprises here. These four players will lead the way at wide receiver this season.

Likely to make the team (2): Josh Cameron, CJ Williams

I fully expect Cameron and Williams to be on the final roster, especially after their performances during offseason programs. That said, there aren't going to be a lot of snaps on offense to go around, so contributing on special teams could be important, and veterans like Austin Trammell and Tim Jones have a lot of experience in that phase of the game.

That said, James Gladstone and Liam Coen have said in the past that they want their incoming rookies to gain experience, which is just another reason why the Jaguars would prioritize keeping Cameron and Williams over a veteran on the back end of the depth chart.

On the bubble (7): Michael Wortham, Austin Trammell, Tim Jones, Trebor Pena, Ben Patterson, Chandler Brayboy, Brady Boyd

As mentioned, the names to watch here are Trammell and Jones. The primary way for those on the back end of the wide receiver depth chart to see snaps is on special teams, and both players have experience there.
