The Las Vegas Raiders were active in adding wide receivers during the draft. They selected two wide receivers and a quarterback who they are planning to convert to wide receiver.
They also signed Zakhari Franklin as an undrafted free agent. There were early indications that they also wanted to take a look at former Utah wide receiver Dorian Singer.
The Raiders were reportedly inviting him to rookie minicamp, so that he'd have a chance to earn a spot on the roster. However, there was a team out there that had seen enough from his college tape.
The Jacksonville Jaguars announced that they've signed Singer, which means he'll no longer be attending the Raiders' rookie minicamp.

Singer was an intriguing player for Las Vegas to look at. A big reason why he fell out of the draft was that he tried and failed to back out of the draft to play another year in college.
In 2024, Singer caught 53 passes for 702 yards for the Utes. He was at Arizona in 2022 when he caught 66 passes for 1,105 yards. He also had a stop at USC in 2023.
Singer was productive enough to earn a draft selection, but the fact that he wanted to go back to school could've rubbed teams the wrong way. Regardless, he'll be one of the more intriguing undrafted free agents from this year's class.
The Raiders already added a couple of developmental wide receivers in the draft, so it may have been difficult for Singer to stick out.
