Following the Jacksonville Jaguars' Week 5 win over the Kansas City Chiefs, let's take a look at which players received the highest grades from Pro Football Focus and which players didn't.
Below is a look at PFF's grading system for some context. While this metric is very helpful when it comes to quantifying a player's performance, PFF's grading system isn't the be-all and end-all either. It is one metric out of many that are out there.
Here are the Jaguars' five highest-graded players on offense and defense, along with the three lowest-graded players overall.
Washington played only 15 snaps but had two receptions, including a touchdown. Hunter totaled 64 receiving yards, catching all three passes that came his way, while showcasing his YAC ability and ball skills.
Lawrence, meanwhile, was efficient through the air and was the Jaguars' leading rusher, scoring two touchdowns, while extending multiple drives by picking up first downs on the ground.
Etienne rushed for a hard-fought 49 yards and graded out well in pass protection. Over 39 pass-blocking snaps, Little allowed no sacks and only two pressures.
Along with Lloyd's impressive pick-six, he had two tackles and two pressures as well. In coverage, the combination of Brown and Hunter allowed one reception on four targets for seven yards. Brown also had a pass breakup.
Hines-Allen logged three pressures and made three tackles in the run game -- grading out very well in that phase. Lewis would allow five receptions on eight targets, holding pass-catchers to under 10 yards per catch.
Patrick played just five snaps, but what brought his grade down was that his one target was labeled a drop. Johnson had 12 pass rush snaps but didn't log any pressures. His run defense grade, however, is what really brought down his overall grade.
Oluokun was in on 11 total tackles, but he was credited with two misses as well. In coverage, he allowed 11 yards per completion on six receptions surrendered.
