Following the Jacksonville Jaguars' wild-card round loss to the Buffalo Bills, let's take a look at which players received the highest grades from Pro Football Focus and which players didn't.
Below is a look at PFF's grading system for some context. While this metric is very helpful when it comes to quantifying a player's performance, PFF's grading system isn't the be-all and end-all either. It is one metric out of many that are out there.
Here are the Jaguars' five highest-graded players on offense and defense, along with the three lowest-graded players overall.
Washington would again lead the Jaguars in receiving, and for the third time in four games, he eclipsed 100 receiving yards.
Harrison did not surrender any quarterback pressures, while Cleveland received a high run-blocking grade of 75.8.
Tuten and Etienne both found success in the run game, generating chunk plays, particularly outside the tackles.
No surprise that all of these players are members of the front seven, and four of them are defensive linemen. Against the NFL's leading rusher and the NFL's top rushing offense, the Jaguars bottled up the Bills' run game. Jacksonville was also able to generate some pressure on Josh Allen.
Bringing down Hamilton's overall grade was his play against the run. Jones missed a tackle and allowed six receptions for 74 yards. Little allowed a team-high three pressures and did not fare well as a run blocker by PFF's metrics.
